My Own Experience

I had the opportunity of attending the 2007 CAMIE Awards Ceremony in Hollywood, CA and enjoyed the whole experience. I love the mission and purpose of CAMIE Awards and I feel that as we emphasize, praise, and ask for the best kind of entertainment we'll see more and more of it.

CAMIE Awards History

The organization was founded by Dr. Glen C. Griffin (a retired pediatrician) and other concerned parents who recognized the need to help strengthen families, and provide a resource where they could find information on wholesome entertainment. As they began working on the project, people from different faiths, cultures and backgrounds became involved. Previous CAMIE winners have included such films as "March of the Penguins," "Miracle," "Toy Story 2," and "Pride and Prejudice." There is also a Classic CAMIE category--motion pictures that would have been awarded CAMIES had they been given when the films were released, are recognized as Classic CAMIES.
